I would like to introduce you all to a special and a fantastic initiative that SAP has for the student community - Scholars@SAP.

Scholar@SAP is the vocational training program conducted by SAP Labs India. This initiative aims to create a skilled pool of college graduates, who will be groomed and trained to suit SAP Labs India’s talent requirements. It is an accelerated orientation program which prepares individuals for SAP work environment even before they are taken on board.

In this education-Plus-work program, students will work Monday-Friday on live assignments at SAP, while the academic classes will be conducted on Saturdays by BITS Pilani faculty at the SAP Campus. During the first 2 years of the Scholar@SAP program, students will work on 3 different assignments (of 7-months duration each) in three different board areas; while during the next 2 years, they select one of the above board areas and continue with it. Upon successful completion of the 4-year course, students are formally inducted into the board area they worked for during their last 2 years. The 4 year course is split over 8 semesters.

SAP Labs India also pays Rs. 15,000 p.m. during the first 2 years and Rs. 25,000 p.m. in the last 2 years, in addition to paying the Tuition Fees for the academic program. Hence, there are no out-of-pocket expenses for the enrolled students.
